Magog Smelt

The Canadian classic that has seen many variations both feather winged and bucktail.  This fly was concocted to represent the smelt of the lakes in the Vermont and Quebec Canada border, more formerly from Lake Memphremagog that is partially in Newport Vermont and Cedarville Canada.  This fly was originally tied by Frier Gulline and is one that works in a variety of situations.
