Fox's Optic Bucktail
In the 1940's Charlie Fox concocted a series of bucktail streamers he called his "Optics" as they had painted eyes on oversized at the time thread heads. These style of streamers were popularized by many at the time and some of the first streamer patterns reiterated to me by my father. The only slight difference from the Fox originals in the ones that I tie is the coloring of the eyes from yellow to white, as in my personal tastes, the white pops a little more with the flies. On a side note, I would be willing to customize any color scheme just request.
