Franke's Lake Erie Shiner
Floyd Franke was not only a great fly caster, instructor and flyfisherman, he was actually a heck of a fly tyer as well. I was fortunate enough to have met him at the Wulff Flyfishing School in the mid 90's and found that he frequented many of the streams and rivers that I grew up fishing in Massachusetts. This is one of his best creations, and one that has been complimented by many.
