Morgan Midge
The Morgan Midge has been a secret weapon of guides for several decades now for fish feeding on midges. This is my personal take on the pattern with some rather slight modifications to the original recipe. Personally I prefer the hackle trimmed flat on the bottom as seen in the photo as it rides flush. I also use midge flash for the trailing shuck, a minor detail but one that helps on the smaller versions. Never leave home without these for any tail water where midges are prevalent.
