Spectrumized Cripple
The spectrumized cripple was another fly out of necessity that was spawned from many frustrating hours of finicky trout keying in crippled mayflies in the film. Credit in the fly comes largely from Galloup's Cripples and Emergers book and the inspiration to come up with a relevant imitation for many of the hatches encountered ensued.
